July 02, 2009 Summary: The Lake Placid Organizing Committee of the Summer Biathlon World Championship Trials and National Championships has two announcements. First, they have received inquiries regarding late registration for the event. The organizing committee has determined that they will accept late entries with an additional $20.00 late fee to cover additional costs for the banquet and event services. No indication was given as to how long they will continue to accept entries. So, if you have not already submitted your entry and wish to participate, you should submit your entry with the late fee immediately. Entry information can be downloaded at the event website: http://summer.nybiathlon.org/ Second, various Lake Placid merchants have provided a variety of raffle items for the banquet Saturday night at the Intervale Ski Jumps. Raffle tickets ranging from $1 to $5 will be sold for a wonderful selection of local gifts. So, bring your spare change to the banquet. |
