Jan. 05, 2009 Summary: La Patrie, Quebec. Jesse Downs (Jericho, VT) won both the Sprint and Pursuit in NorAm Cup 4 this weekend. Winners summary and link to results. In the Sprint and Pursuit Casey Simon was second, with Walt Shepard finishing third in the sprint and Sam Morse taking third in the Pursuit. For the women BethAnn Chamberlain won the sprint, Katrina Howe was second and Jennifer Wygant was third. But in the pursuit Wygant won, with Chamberlain second and Howe third. Kevin Brooker took two silver medals in the Masters Men class and was joined by fellow Ethan Allen Biathlon Club members Milne King and John Madigan The NorAm Cup continues this Saturday and Sunday at the Ethan Allen Firing Range in Jericho, VT with a Sprint on Saturday and a Mass Start on Sunday. Registration has been extended to include day of race entry onsite until 9:30 AM each day. |
